There isn't an easy way to say this: everyone loves to hate IT. Whether it is your local IT 'guy', or that far-flung phone operator you only speak to when your flight is cancelled and hotel reservation was messed up - everyone, and I mean everyone - has issues with IT nearly daily.
My contention, if i can have one, is that it's not that we all hate IT so much, its that the systems in which we consume IT aren't as efficient as they need to be.
That said, my goal within this space is to give just a little insight into the world of applied IT systems management, specifically focused on why systems are so hard to define and what can be done to make them more effective.
Expect to cover multiple topics within the technology space, as the focus is around systems management, not any specific kind of system.
So here is where we start, please feel free to be part of the conversation.
